HOW DO I SCHEDULE?
Call our office at 859.264.1141 to schedule your LexPod Direct visit with Dr. Carter or Dr. Freels. Payment must be collected at scheduling to ensure your appointment due to high demand.
WHAT IS DIRECT PODIATRIC CARE?
Direct Podiatric Care is a doctor-led movement that puts patient care above allelse. At Lexington Podiatry, patient satisfaction is one of our core values. The cashbased model of LexPod Direct allows us to solely focus on your well-beingwithout the restrictions of insurance coverage. This model gives us theopportunity to further nurture doctor-patient relations with extended, unrushedvisits to address your concerns. The package style of LPD forgoes co-pays +deductibles, and offers discounted services with no surprise bills.
CAN I USE MY INSURANCE AT MY LEXPOD DIRECT VISIT?
LexPod Direct is a cash based treatment model. We will not bill your insurance, however you may ask for a copy of your Careslip to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement as it varies depending on your policy.
WHAT ABOUT MY HSA?
Yes! Eligible medical expenses are considered tax deductible, and many insurance companies will apply expenses to your deductible. Be sure to verify your eligibility with your insurance provider.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
We do not offer in house financing. We accept cash, check, major credit cards, and FSA + HSA cards with Visa, American Express or Mastercard. You may also apply for CareCredit to finance your healthcare spending.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
No referral needed! We invite all patients to take control of their health with LexPod Direct.
